Cabernet Franc 2020

Receiving 4 stars from Michael Cooper, this wine is full with vanilla and spice, fragrant and mouth filling. This full bodied, richly coloured wine warms the soul. Blackcurrants and boysenberry mingle with hints of herbs and spices to tantalise the taste buds. Matured and smoothly integrated in French oak with a lingering finish. Gently flirtatious.

Michael Cooper says "Grown in the Far North, this full-coloured red was matured in French oak casks (30% new).  Fresh and mouth filling, it is vibrantly fruity, with youthful, berryish, plummy, spicy flavours, oak-aging complexity and good tannin support.  Well worth cellaring."
