Dancing Petrel

The  Storm Petrel pirouettes across the waves of sparkling Doubtless Bay. This small bird personifies the wines made from the grapes grown on the north facing slopes of Paewhenua Island.

From a coastal vineyard in the Far North, this freshly scented, light lemon/green wine is full-bodied and vibrantly fruity, with generous, ripe, peach, slightly spicy flavours and a dry finish.  Still youthful, it should be at its best 2020.

Attractively fruited and elegantly expressed, the bouquet shows apricot, Gala apple, lemon peel, floral and subtle spicy notes, leading to a juicy palate that is beautifully rounded and smooth. The wine offers youthful fruit intensity and fine texture, finishing succulent and lingering. At its best: now to 2021.
