Vanilla and spice, fragrant and mouthfilling, this full bodied, richly coloured wine warms the soul. Black currants and boysenberry mingle with hints of herbs and spices to tantalise the taste buds. Matured and smoothly integrated in French oak with a lingering finish. Gently flirtatious.
Michael Cooper says " Grown in the Far North, this full-coloured red was matured in French oak casks (30% new). Fresh and mouthfilling, it is vibrantly fruity, with youthful, berryish, plummy, spicy flavours, oak-aging complexity and good tannin support. Well worth cellaring.
